they walk.” Meet in the courtyard at 1:00 p.m. Christ Church gets
some of the proceeds. The PROFILE of our
DIOCESE is now on the web at: www.nvdiocese.org/profile for all of us
to see. Please take a few moments to explore this effort to communicate
the picture of who the Episcopal Church is in Nevada. You will be impressed
with the amount of mission and ministry in which many of us are engaged.
Results of our Focus Groups meetings are there, with a description of
the type of leader we are seeking for our next Bishop. Please help in
the process by sending the URL web address to your friends far and wide!
The more we spread the word, the more likely we are to find the leader
we seek for our Diocese. If you do not have access to the web, ask a
friend, go to the nearest library, stop by the Church office to get
a print of the website or you can have one mailed to you by Barbara
Lewis at “PROTECTING
GOD’S CHILDREN” will be offered at Grace in the Desert Episcopal
church on Monday, April 30 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Please bring something
to nourish yourself on during the initial video presentation. RSVP to
Denise at 838-7444 so that we are able to provide sufficient materials.
All lay and clergy personnel who have any contact directly or indirectly
with youth are required to participate in this class every two years. LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCE
AT CAMP GALILEE (LAKE TAHOE) THIS SUMMER? There are three job openings
there, two are volunteer: Summer Camp Health Technician and Chaplain;
and one paid position: Summer Camp Counselor. Details on these positions
