HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: If anyone would like to attend the HFH church relations meeting, it will be held Wednesday, March 28, 6:30 p.m., at First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Dr.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED—Do you have spare time on your hands? Would you like to join us in the Outreach Program distributing food items to needy people? We are in need of volunteers who are willing to spend three hours a day helping Epicenter in food distribution. The hours are approximately 10:30 AM until 1:30 PM. We need reliable volunteers who are looking for a rewarding experience. If you are interested call Rev. Bonnie at 735-7655, extension 207.

The ECW of Christ Church is hosting a RECEPTION in the Parish Hall, Palm Sunday, April 1, after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services in honor of The Right Reverend Jerry Lamb. Bishop Lamb will be celebrating at Christ Church and we are looking forward to his visit.

Bishop Lamb will preside at the Apostolic Rite of Confirmation and Reception at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, April 1, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Father Peter will be using the adult class on the Sundays in March to offer an introduction to the Episcopal Church. The class meets in the Board Room. The purpose of the class is to help people discern if the traditional Anglican way we follow here at Christ Church is for them. The title of the last session is:
March 25 Baptism as ordination for mission.
People who wish to be confirmed or received should indicate this desire to the interim rector at their earliest convenience. We are required to notify the bishop’s office at least a week in advance.

MAUNDY THURSDAY WATCH: On the Chapel Door is a sign up sheet for the Watch. Once again our guardian angel will have paid Security through the night. Please enter and leave by the Chapel door. “Watch with me one hour?”

CROP WALK IS HERE! —Today, March 25th, Christ Church Courtyard. “We walk because they walk.” Meet in the courtyard at 1:00 p.m. Christ Church gets some of the proceeds.
The ECW will be hosting a reception EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 8, in the Parish Hall following each service. Your contribution of fruit juices, sweet rolls or bite size fruit would be greatly appreciated.

“PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN” will be offered at Grace in the Desert Episcopal church on Monday, April 30 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Please bring something to nourish yourself on during the initial video presentation. RSVP to Denise at 838-7444 so that we are able to provide sufficient materials. All lay and clergy personnel who have any contact directly or indirectly with youth are required to participate in this class every two years.
